Ammanford and District Angling Association

Ammanford & District Angling Association was born back in 1927 when a group of local anglers realised the need to establish a club that would enable them to hold on to the water that was available at that time. Had this not happened we might not be enjoying the wonderful river we have today. We have some eight miles of fishing along the rivers Loughor and Amman stretching down stream from Llandybie to Hendrewen near Pontardulais. The club holds competitions for seniors and juniors throughout the year and fly tying lessons throughout the winter.
